Following its successful installation of satellite television services last October, NIAT Sdn. Bhd. was contacted by the key client for more installations although this time, on different platforms.
In response to the request, three technicians from NIAT’s technical team were promptly dispatched to the client’s site.
The team evaluated the platform’s structural layout before installing the antenna and determine the best location for minimal to zero interference especially in the offshore environment. Over the course of two days, the team successfully installed one antenna, five decoders, cablings, and connection of RF accessories, while ensuring minimal disruptions of the platforms’ daily operations.
To make sure the customer was satisfied, the team tested the entire satellite television system and confirmed that all components are functioning correctly and receiving a strong, clear signal.
For over a decade, NIAT Sdn. Bhd. has provided reliable satellite communication solutions to several of its oil and gas clients. Recently, NIAT started delivering Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) services for offshore platforms, gradually expanding its offerings beyond satellite communications.
