Last October, NIAT Sdn. Bhd. received a request from one of its key clients to increase their bandwidth subscription from its existing 1Mbps to 7Mbps to further enhance their day-to-day business operations. Client wants more, they will get it!
NIAT’s field technician and network personnel were dispatch to the client’s offshore facilities to conduct a Proof of Concept (PoC) testing to meet this bandwidth demand and ensure that the client can optimize the increased bandwidth using their own private network via the Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) system.
The physical setup, network configuration, load testing, and performance testing were among the many testing procedures carried out by the NIAT team to make sure that performance improved soon after the upgrade, had a faster connection, and stays clear of congestion and interference. Additionally, the team ensures that all equipment and other infrastructure of the client’s satcom are still intact and operational.
Through constant communication with the NIAT team, the client was able to oversee the whole testing process directly. Test reports were generated to ensure complete satisfaction on the client side in regards to the bandwidth performance – even faster, secure internet connection.
The successful bandwidth boost proved NIAT’s capability to provide satellite communication solutions that guarantee the continuity of its clients’ business operations.
