Blood Drive Strives to Make a Difference, One Pint at A Time

Bandar Seri Begawan, 5th December 2023 – Network Integrity Assurance Technologies (NIAT) Sdn. Bhd.,Brunei’s satellite communication service provider, yesterday organized its first-ever blood donation drive in partnership with the Blood Donation Centre of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital. 

The drive was held at the One City Shopping Centre in Kampong Sungai Hanching from 10am to 2pm.

NIAT Sdn. Bhd witnessed great participation from individuals who had registered through the Blood Kad, as well as those who spontaneously walked in to donate.

Due to the overwhelming response from members of the public, NIAT Sdn. Bhd. and the Blood Donation Centre have successfully collected a total of 74 pints of blood.

All successful donors received donor gifts as a token of appreciation.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NIAT Sdn. Bhd., said “Through this corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, our objective is to raise awareness on the importance of consistent blood donation, aiming to replenish the nation’s blood supply. Together, we can actively contribute to sustaining a safe and adequate blood supply for the community – making a difference one pint at a time.”
