Today, BIL and NiAT formed a new collaboration that will bring together the best of both organizations and provide new opportunities for their respective communities. This partnership will combine the strengths of both organizations to create a better future for everyone involved.
The collaboration between Brunei Innovation Lab and NiAT Sdn. Bhd. will allow both organizations to leverage their expertise and resources to provide enhanced services and experiences to their members, customers, and communities. The partnership will include joint projects, events, and initiatives designed to bring people together, promote growth and innovation, and support the communities they serve.
NiAT will be included within the BIL Framework ranging from introductory awareness on tech focus areas on tech domain leading into OBSERVE, a platform that enables its user to integrate various datasets such as satellite remote sensing data and technologies for location-based intelligence, and its real world use-cases scenario, providing challenge statements within BIL’s innovation ecosystem in providing opportunities, NiAT as mentor or consultation in potential Innovate programme as well as looking for opportunity sponsors and other collaborative support.
With regards to this collaboration, both parties look to upscale the [tech domain] with the OBSERVE platform for the whole industry, NiAT will be showcasing solutions at BIL, have access to challenge statements from opportunity sponsors and providing access for Bruneian startups to network for cross collaboration and value creation with BIL in building out potential markets within the respective industries to ensure adoption across the Nation.
Both parties also talked about using BIL as a neutral sandbox platform where project stakeholders can enter into with projects of their interests and established agreed scopes either in a variation of a prototyping platform/venue to test out OBSERVE and how it could provide innovation across new or existing services.
