Demobilization for the Falgout and Icon Kayra Vessel

NiAT’s Ku band equipments were successfully demobilized on both the Falgout and Icon Kayra vessels.

The technical team demobilized the Gyro antenna from the Falgout vessel on 23rd November, 2021. Apart from that, other network equipment such as router, modem, WiFi AP, and the 24U racks were also decommissioned from the vessel.

Another demobilization task was also conducted for KU-band on Icon Kayra vessel earlier on 15th November 2021. KU band is one of the services offered by NiAT to its clients. In comparison to C-Band, the KU band is more susceptible to rain fade.

NiAT’s technical team executed a great logistics plan that resulted in an efficient demobilization operation for both boats.

Both vessels were scheduled for maintenance outside Brunei. The equipment will be reinstalled upon their return and back into operation in 2022. The technical staff team will ensure everything is reinstalled back to its previous set up.

NiAT typically provides an SLA of 98.5 percent to its clients.
