On 26 July 2021, NiAT successfully installed the Kymeta antenna for Schlumberger on their MLJ3 platform.
The Kymeta u8 Terminal provides Ku-Band and internet service to the platform, which is situated 51km from Brunei’s shore. Before the terminal was installed, NiAT conducted a compatibility test to determine whether Schlumberger were able to experience the intended quality of the VSAT network, and to find out if the Kymeta u8 terminal was the correct match.
