On the 16th July 2023, NIAT’s technical team coordinated a joint measurement session for Microwave and Satellite (Vehicle Mounted) with the local regulatory authority. This session was specifically arranged for NIAT’s latest flat-panel satellite terminal product.
Held in Temburong District, the session’s primary objective was to conduct tests between Microwave and L-ESIM, ensuring their operation within the same frequency band at specified location. This validation aimed to confirm the product’s adherence to local regulatory standards, emphasizing the utmost importance of ensuring product compliance.
The product underwent testing in a clear, obstruction-free area to guarantee a stable connection during the demonstration. This innovative product is designed for use on both fixed and mobile platforms.
With a rating to perform in extreme temperatures and conditions, this product boasts a stationary design that requires no deployment or stowing, leading to significantly reduced maintenance concerns. Known for its sturdy build, it has demonstrated reliability in both land and maritime environments
The purpose of the demonstration session was to showcase the functionality and capabilities of the product while assuring the local regulators that the product can operate efficiently without causing interference with existing communication system or violating any spectrum usage rules.
