His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam visited Network Integrity Assurance Technologies (NiAT) Sdn Bhd booth for the Defense Industry Static Exhibition at the Air Movement Centre (AMC) of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Base in Kampong Rimba recently during the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 62nd Anniversary Celebration.
This platform was to showcase the latest products, technologies and services in the defense sector and demonstrate their capabilities to the industry professionals, government representatives, military personnel within Brunei’s defense sector.
Accompanying His Majesty were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office; His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik, and His Royal Highness 920 Major (U) Prince ‘Abdul Mateen. NiAT Sdn Bhd, a local satellite communication provider in Brunei Darussalam, was among the invited companies within the defense industries from countries including United States, Australia, People’s Republic of China, Republic of Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Federal Republic of Germany, Kingdom of Spain, and Republic of Singapore, to display cutting-edge and innovative technology that will help the RBAF build capabilities and bolster the nation’s defense.
During the exhibition, NiAT displayed and demonstrated satellite communication products and services that offers unique advantages, security features and operational benefits for RBAF among which include satellite phones, satellite trackers, tactical comms on-the-move equipment, maritime broadband connectivity, flat panel antenna, aviation/inflight connectivity, push-to-talk radio, as well as private mesh network.
NiAT’s Chief Executive Officer, Lim Ming Soon, and NiAT’s management briefed His Majesty and members of the royal families of the products and services displayed at the booth. Following the visit, His Majesty ended his tour at the NiAT booth by signing a plaque from NiAT to mark the joyous occasion and opportunity to showcase its local satellite products and services to the royal families and the international and local defense sector.
