What’s new in December?

NiAT’s technical team were off for another offshore deployment to install KU band to ‘PVD5’ at Brunei Shell Petroleum’s Ampa-9.

Satellite broadcasting makes extensive use of the KU band because of its superior bandwidth, crystal-clear audio and video, and lightning-fast connectivity. 

A certified carrier device was rented to safely transfer the equipment including the Gyro antenna, its mounting and pedestal, cable and accessories, among others.

This is NiAT’s second offshore installation this year.

PVD5 is a Vietnamese offshore drilling contractor that has secured a long-term contract with BSP for its long-stacked heavy tender assist semi-submersible drilling rig, PV drilling V.
