Our technical experts at NIAT Sdn. Bhd. conducted a routine maintenance inspection of our satellite communication equipment at both Kampong Sukang and Kampong Melilas, located in the remote areas in Ulu Belait.
Satellite communication equipment can be affected by various factors such as dust, moisture, corrosion, vibration, interference, or damage. Testing of the equipment, along with routine maintenance inspection, is the best way to avoid unwelcome issues.
During the scheduled routine maintenance, our tech support team inspected the physical condition, electrical connections, software updates, signal strength of the equipment and, repaired the radio frequency (RF) cable. The equipment was then tested to ensure its functionality and readiness.
With the support of the Ministry of Education, continued efforts are made to address the digital literacy gap among students living in remote areas and to ensure that rural residents, teachers, and students have reliable and seamless communication connectivity for education, economic opportunity, and social inclusion.
