OBSERVE™ by Network Integrity Assurance Technologies Sdn Bhd (NiAT) was launched during the Royal Brunei Armed Forces 58th Anniversary Celebration at the Bolkiah Garrison, Ministry of Defence with the tagline, ‘Ready for the Future’ yesterday.
A plaque of appreciation was signed by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ’Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
It has always been NiAT’s goal to launch Brunei’s first satellite and to ultimately become the nation’s satellite service provider. Having served the nation for nearly 10 years, it has envisioned to pioneer Brunei’s space industry, taking heed the fast technological evolution and adopting 4th industrial revolution. NiAT believes OBSERVE™ will revolutionise the way data is utilised and visualise thus showed progress towards achieving Vision 2035.
“We hope that OBSERVE™ serves not only the government but also corporate and private firms looking at planning, building or infrastructure and more,” Chief Executive Officer of NiAT Lim Ming Soon said.
NiAT was established in May 2010 under the collaborative effort between Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru) and TS Global Networks Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) to provide cost-effective, resilient and secure satellite communications connectivity (VSAT) solutions for maritime, remote and rural locations.
