NIAT Deploys LEO Ku-Band Services Across Six Vessels

Network Integrity Assurance Technologies (NIAT) Sdn. Bhd. successfully completed the deployment of LEO Ku-Band connectivity services across six offshore vessels between August and September 2026.

 

The deployment involved the installation of LEO Ku-Band antennas, user terminals, firewalls and network switches, establishing the foundation for a secure and reliable onboard communications network.

 

In addition to equipment installation, the team carried out cable routing, system integration, network configuration, and connectivity testing to ensure each vessel was ready for service prior to departure. Each installation was carefully planned around vessel schedules to minimize disruption to operations, with installations often completed within a single day.

 

The successful deployment across six vessels demonstrates NIAT’s ability to deliver robust communications solutions in demanding offshore environments while enhancing connectivity and the onboard experience for offshore personnel. Through projects such as this, NIAT remains committed to leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency and workforce welfare across the maritime and offshore sectors.
