Reliable satellite television services play an important role in offshore living, providing personnel with access to news, information and entertainment while working away from home for extended periods.
In September 2026, Network Integrity Assurance Technologies (NIAT) successfully completed a deployment to a client’s offshore platform to troubleshoot and restore satellite television services affected by reception issues.
The two-day deployment focused on assessing the onboard satellite television system and identifying the cause of the service disruption. Working with equipment including the decoder, antenna dish, LNB and signal booster, the team conducted a series of checks and implemented corrective measures to restore service functionality.
Through systematic testing, signal optimization and equipment verification, NIAT successfully restored the satellite television service within the planned deployment period, allowing personnel onboard to regain access to television services.
This project reflects NIAT’s continued commitment to delivering dependable offshore support services, helping clients maintain essential systems and services that contribute to the daily well-being of personnel onboard.
